We did the hard work so you don’t have to. Check out these summer cleaning tips that will make sure you and your patio are ready for your next summer throw down. We tried to include as many green tips as possible.

Clean Outdoor Furniture with Warm Water and Dish Soap

Get your outdoor furniture and ready for a summer full of BBQs and get-togethers has never been easier. Use a rag, warm water, and some dish soap to breathe new life into your outdoor setup.

Clean Your Windows… With Newspaper

Save the paper towels and use newspaper to get your windows sparkling clean. Just make sure to save a few of the free papers that show throughout the week and the small weekly savings will add up over the year.

Clean your Grill the Natural Way

No one wants to taste last year’s burgers at this year’s BBQ. Avoid using chemicals by using some apple cider vinegar and balled up pieces of tinfoil to get your grill grate looking new. Your guests will thank you at your next outdoor get together.

Deodorize your Outdoor Trash Cans with Baking Soda

One of my favorite summer cleaning tips! Have you ever stepped in something that the hose just will not get off? The perfect summer fix is cleaning your flip flops and sandals in the dishwasher. I try to wash a few pairs together alone for the best clean.

Clean Ceiling Fans with a Pillowcase

The easiest way we’ve found to clean ceiling fan blades is with a pillowcase. Just put the case around each blade and while you slip the case off dust the blade. Pushing all the dust into the bad. When you’re done, just empty the bag into the trash and then put the pillowcase into the washing machine with your next load.

Clean Pool Floaties & Toys with Vinegar & Water

If you have a pool, one of the best (and natural) way to keep your pool’s inflatable floats and toys germ and gunk free is by using water and vinegar. Mix 1-part vinegar with 3-parts water and you will have yourself the perfect mix to clean your floaties!
