GIVE THE GIFT OF WARMTH THIS SEASON

Nearly half of low-income Americans reported that they or someone in their household experienced some type of income loss during the pandemic, according to information published by Pew Research Center. Because more people are facing hardship this year due to the impacts of COVID-19, many families in our community will likely be in need of assistance this holiday season and into 2021.

Wellspring Living is a nonprofit in Atlanta, GA. Over the last 19 years they have supported women and children that have been at risk or victimized by sexual exploitation. Wellspring Living needs help this holiday season. Assistance this year for many nonprofits has already been strained. Companies and individual donors have been stretched thin, providing donations to many organizations effected by the pandemic. To aid those most vulnerable, Fabricare Center has partnered with Wellspring Living to provide warmth through our coat drive.

Wellspring Living programs include residential and community-based programs which provide therapeutic services, educational support, as well as personal and professional development. The hope is to safeguard and uplift as many women and children as they can. By collaborating with the generous community, Wellspring Living is able to provide their participants the tools they need to flourish in life.

Consider donating gently used or new coats in sizes small to 4X at either of our two retail locations in Dunwoody or Sandy Springs. We are also collecting coats through our convenient pickup and delivery service, just remember to include a note to let us know what items you are donating.

Whether you donate with Fabricare Center’s partner Wellspring Living or are working with another organization this holiday season we hope you are inspired to give a little back this year and help those most in need.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season!

Happy Holidays

Pair and Pour Some Festive Holiday Cheer This Season

While holiday traditions and celebrations will likely look different this year, the season is still special. Set the scene for a celebratory occasion by mixing festive cocktails or creating the perfect spread to complement your wines, beers, cheeses and even chocolates.

You can help make your spread delicious with these pairings and seasonal cocktail ideas:

Light and Refreshing – With aromas of Meyer lemon and flavors of fresh green apple and white peach, the crisp Landshut Riesling has a touch of delicate sweetness while still being juicy and refreshing. For a savory-and-sweet combination, try pairing it with a Goat Cheese Log and Milk Chocolate Domino Cubes.

Rich and Decadent – Indulge your senses with the aromas of butterscotch, warm baking spices and the velvety dark fruit notes of the Quarter Cut Bourbon Barrel Red Blend. This decadent red blend offers a smooth finish, similar to mulled wine without the extra work. The rich flavor pairs well with a smoked cheese like Smoked Gouda as well as Dark Chocolates with Caramel and Sea Salt.

Savory with Brew – If a craft beer is more your style, consider a rich and creamy dark ale like a stout. Its robust flavors of roasted coffee beans and bittersweet cocoa combine for a sweet yet savory, earthy finish. Serve it with rich flavors like English Truffle Cheddar and add a touch of chocolatey sweetness with Cocoa Dusted Truffles.

Signature Libations – Up the ante on your holiday celebration with a special yet simple cocktail you can mix at home with confidence. The secret to making the Mistletoe Mule is the 3-2-1 method: just pour wine for three counts, ginger beer for two counts and pomegranate juice for one count.

Mistletoe Mule
Servings: 2
Sugar
4 1/2 oz Brut Sparkling
3 oz Ginger Beer
1.5 oz Pomegranate
Juice
lime juice
fresh cranberries,
for garnish (optional)

Rim two glasses with sugar.

In separate mixer or glass, combine wine, ginger beer and pomegranate. To serve, pour over ice in prepared glasses then top with fresh lime juice. Garnish each glass with cranberries, if desired.

EAT AND DRINK SMART TO FEND OFF COLD AND FLU SEASON

It’s no secret that a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and veggies can deliver important vitamins and nutrients for better health, but many of your favorite foods can actually help support your immune system, too. In addition to precautions like avoiding people who are sick and washing your hands often, you can influence your immune system through what you eat and drink.

Stay hydrated. Keeping well hydrated can be difficult during the winter months, especially if you spend most of your time indoors. A warm drink like this flavorful Orange Spiced Tea provides a strong dose of vitamin C along with a delicious dose of hydration.

Keep the produce going strong. Fresh, seasonal fruits and veggies often come to mind during warmer months, but produce like citrus, leafy greens and root vegetables are plentiful during cold and flu season, too. “Consuming the whole fruit is the best way to ensure you gain the maximum nutritional benefit,” Dr. Poonam Desai said. “When speaking with patients, I recommend seeking nutrients like vitamin C from whole food sources, rather than supplements, especially with a vitamin C-rich fruit like California oranges.”

Get a natural boost of vitamins. Vitamins A and C, found in fresh citrus, are two key nutrients that support your body’s natural line of defense, your immune system. Just one orange offers 90% of the daily recommended value of vitamin C, and California Navel oranges are in their peak season – just in time for the height of cold and flu season.

Smart Holiday Gift Ideas

Many of the season’s most popular gift ideas can generally be classified as “tech.” From smartphones and gaming systems to digital photo frames and smart home devices, tech junkies and technophobes alike can delight in the options available to help enhance daily routines and make tasks easier.

Whether you’re looking to introduce your intended recipient to the smart home concept with a foundational device like a smart thermostat or want to take home automation to the next level, there are upgrades that can work in every area of the home. From the kitchen to the garage and the bedroom to the patio, homeowners can control everything from televisions, appliances and lights to the temperature in a specific room and home security cameras with their voices or smartphones.

Consider these smart devices that can work in harmony to help make day-to-day life simpler.

Intelligent Home Monitoring

If you want to give the gift of a safe and secure home this holiday season, consider an option like ecobee Haven including the SmartCamera with voice control and the SmartSensors for doors and windows. Instead of adding more devices and tasks to ever-expanding to-do lists, the plug-and-play home monitoring platform works with your smartphone to deliver peace of mind and eliminate the need for keypads, programming and single-use gadgets. In one app, you can automatically arm and disarm your home, distinguish welcome guests from intruders and use your activity feed to see when family members arrive or depart.

Automated Home Comfort

Help keep your home comfortable this winter even while you’re on the go
with a gift like the Google Nest Learning Thermostat. Because every home heats and cools differently, the thermostat works with your schedule, occupancy and desired comfort settings to deliver a personalized energy model that automates home comfort, reduces energy consumption and saves you money. It’s easy to install and help save up to 23% annually on heating and cooling costs, giving you the power to do your part to reduce your environmental footprint without compromising your lifestyle.

4 Tips for a Productive 2021

This year has taught many workers a thing or two about being productive when offices and homes blend into one. As the calendar turns to 2021, consider these key products and processes to stay productive next year.

Find a system (and stick to it): Creating an organizing system is an easy way to ensure your at-home workspace is ready for optimal productivity. Designate space to house all your work items – a drawer, cabinet or box – and keep work items organized by type (pens, papers, computer gear, etc.) At the end of each day, transitioning to “offline hours” can be easier when you have a place to stow your work items.

Start your day clean: Studies have shown cleanliness has a direct impact on productivity. Yet, many people struggle to find the time and energy to clean, especially at the end of a busy day at home. An option like a all-in-one robot vacuum provides a hands-free cleaning experience, complete with the time-saving benefits of vacuuming and mopping. Easily controlled via an app, just set it to clean before bed and wake up to a tidy workspace.

Break up your day: With so many hours at home in front of a computer, workdays can get a little monotonous. Break up the day to make working from home feel as “normal” as possible – shower in the morning, take a walk or drive to coffee then make time for at least two breaks throughout the day. Some people have found success with the Pomodoro Technique, which is breaking your day up into 25-minute chunks of work, with 5-minute rest periods. If you continue to work until you feel like taking a break, odds are you’ll overwork yourself until it’s too late to take the “big break” you had in mind.

Bookend your days with mindfulness: At the beginning and end of each workday, do a 3-5-minute mindfulness meditation. Before signing on to work for the day, allow your mind to fully focus on the day’s tasks at-hand. Sign-off by doing another mediation to end the day and let go of any worries or stresses you might have. Incorporating this tactic into your daily routine can help create a natural boundary from work and home while also restoring peace of mind.

FIVE TIPS FOR THE CHANGE OF SEASON

BEN FEINGOLD | FABRICARE CENTER OWNER

This is one of my favorite times of the year! Chilly evenings, leaves turning colors, crisp fresh air. Growing up in Atlanta I have always loved the four seasons of weather. Fall brings cooler temperatures to signal the winter months ahead. However, with such a mild climate in Atlanta, its nice knowing that we have until January, sometimes even February until winter is in full force.

I want to provide a few tips and reminders as we shift our wardrobes and household items during the cool weather as we move into fall.

GET THE STAINS OUT Whenever you put one set of clothing away for the season (typically in the fall and spring) it’s important to make sure all stains have been removed from the fabric prior to storage. This well help prevent moths and silverfish from destroying garments as they go after the sugars and proteins found in stains. Also, the longer a stain remains on clothing, the more likely it is to set permanently in the garment.

ORGANIZE YOUR CLOSET With so many TV shows and resources online, there has never been more information available to help you get this painstakingly annoying process crossed off your to-do-list. It may take a bit of time to complete but in the end it will be well worth it. Not only will you be able to find that favorite garment of yours more easily, you will have the opportunity to see what items you need to add to your wardrobe for the season.

CLEAN OUTDOOR PATIO CUSHIONS This is the perfect time of year to have Fabricare Center clean your outdoor patio cushions before putting them away for the winter or freshen them up for guests during the holiday season. Clients have been excited to learn that we provide this service and to see how clean we are able to make them look. You can drop your cushions off at our retail stores or arrange for us to pick them up.

BRING US NEEDED ALTERATIONS As we have been cooped up inside and adjusting to our new environment for the past 7 months of the pandemic, our size may have changed and some of our winter clothes may not fit as well as they used to. If that’s the case, remember Fabricare Center can make those adjustments for you with our quality seamstress so you don’t have to buy all new clothes.

PREPARE FOR GUESTS November and December are the most popular time of year for entertaining friends and family. Let us help you get prepared! We are ready to help you with area rugs, drapes, comforters, pillows, and table linens so your home is fresh and looking great for all your holiday guests.

One bonus tip! When you pull your garments out for the colder months they might have a musty smell from being stored for so long. Give them a good cleaning at Fabricare Center to knock the odor out, even if they were stored with mothballs or cedar.

Warm wishes as we enter the holiday season.

Getting Your Home Ready For Winter

Although preparing your home for winter is a fairly consistent process year-to-year, many homes have seen significantly more use this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. Consider these tips from the experts at the National Association of the Remodeling Industry to help ensure your home is ready before winter weather strikes.

Improve Indoor Air Quality
The increased daily usage of your home naturally increases the importance of indoor air quality. Since windows and doors will likely be closed more often, moisture levels within your home can be significantly affected. Use a humidifier, if necessary, to maintain a relative humidity between 45-50%, which is healthier and can feel more comfortable. It can also keep wooden doors and windows functioning properly and wood furniture and floors looking good.

Get Your Furnace Checked
To keep your furnace from failing when you need it most, get it inspected by a professional before you need to rely on it to heat your home in the dead of winter. If you’re not leaving the house and turning down the thermostat each day, this will be especially important this year. Regular tune-ups can prolong your furnace’s life, help prevent carbon monoxide leaks and ensure your unit is working at maximum efficiency.

Seal Leaks Around Windows and Doors
Air infiltration is one of the largest culprits of reductions in a home’s efficiency. Small air leaks can add up to significant heat loss and a corresponding increase in energy consumption. Increase energy efficiency by sealing gaps around window and door moldings with caulk to help keep heat from escaping.

Check Your Gutters
Improper drainage away from the home is one of the biggest causes of water leaking into basements and crawlspaces. Gutters and downspouts have the single purpose of routing water away from your home to help prevent damage to your foundation. Once leaves have fallen, ensure your gutters are properly secured and clear of debris.

HELP OTHERS DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON

Giving during the holiday season can mean more than gifts. It’s the time of year when giving back to your community can make an even bigger impact – especially this year when so many need a helping hand.

This holiday season, do your part to help deliver smiles to loved ones and people in need. Reap the feel-good rewards of helping others with these ideas on how to make a difference.

Give time. One of the greatest donations an organization can receive is your time. Volunteer roles can vary significantly depending on the organization you choose but can leave you feeling like you’ve contributed in a real and meaningful way. From sorting donated items, preparing and distributing warm meals or wrapping gifts, organizations can almost always use an extra set of hands during the holidays.

Make your shopping count. To help make the season even brighter, Amazon is donating millions of items to more than 1,000 charities worldwide through product and monetary donations and is making it easy for you to give back as well. When shopping for holiday supplies or gifts for family and friends, you can give back and donate to your favorite charitable organizations. Simply activate AmazonSmile in the mobile app or on your web browser to get the same online shopping experience you’re accustomed to with the added benefit of donating a portion of eligible purchases to a charity of your choice.

Spread information. People are more willing to contribute to a cause when they understand how they can help. Align with an organization or cause you care about and share details about how the community can help. That might include talking about the group’s mission and needs to your friends and family or simply sharing info about its cause on your social media feeds. Let the organization know you’re eager to generate awareness for its needs, and it can typically find a way to put your skills to use.

Shop for a cause. One thing nonprofits often hear is people want to give, but they don’t know what items will be most useful. You can remove the guesswork with a resource like AmazonSmile Charity Lists, which offer a convenient way to donate to your favorite causes. Just search for your favorite organization and find its list of most-needed items, purchase and have the donation delivered directly to the charity’s door. You can also make a donation to the organization of your choice through your Alexa-enabled device by saying, “Alexa, I want to make a donation.”

Donate gently used items. This holiday season, you’ll probably add new clothes to your closet and new toys to the playroom, but others may not have presents to unwrap. As you receive gifts this holiday, see what gently used toys, clothes and household items could be donated to help others.

Find more information and resources at smile.amazon.com, and share how you’re giving back by using #DeliveringSmiles on social media.

MAKE WAY FOR NEW TRADITIONS

Although there’s plenty of comfort to be found in holiday traditions, this year is the perfect excuse to mix things up a little and infuse some new ideas into your celebration.

Pass on family recipes. A traditional turkey dinner complete with a variety of seasonal sides and desserts is a staple for many families. To help ensure the tradition continues, use the extra time you may have together to teach older children how to prepare specific dishes that have been passed down through the generations. You could also have different family members like siblings or adult children take over making specific dishes, such as the turkey or pumpkin pie.

Share your good fortune. It’s been a rough year for many, in several different ways. If you and yours are able, dedicating a portion of your day to helping those who’ve fared worse can be a powerful bonding experience. Not only do you share the feel-good vibes that come from helping others, the experience can open your eyes to the many blessings you and your loved ones share.

Add group entertainment. If your family’s norm is to scatter as soon as the meal is done, or to scarf down a plate before returning to the gridiron action, look for ways to bring everyone together. Organize a board game tournament or gather a group to take a walk through the neighborhood and reminisce.

Learn a new skill. Discover something new about your loved ones by inviting one or two (or more) to share a special skill with the group. You can develop a new appreciation after an afternoon chatting while learning how to crochet, perform magic card tricks or make DIY decor for the holiday season.

Make a game of giving thanks. Ask each guest to jot down something they’re thankful for as they arrive. Later, after everyone has settled in, take turns drawing the cards, reading them aloud and letting everyone guess whose good tidings they’re hearing. It can be an easy way to catch up and allow you to celebrate special moments with one another.

Care Label Changes

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is mulling an end to a 50 year old care label law required for clothing.

It says the current ‘Rule on Care Labeling of Textile Wearing Apparel and Certain Piece Goods’ may not be necessary to ensure manufacturers provide care instructions. This repeal could have a significant and devastating impact not only on dry cleaners but for consumers as well.

It is a routine part of our business to check the care label for cleaning instructions on almost every garment. Yes, there are some basic garments like 100% cotton khaki pants or jeans but sometimes even those, if they contain additional fibers, can cause a problem if the care instructions are not followed. The Care Label Rule is essential to professional garment care. Since garment designers and manufacturers are the only people who know what types of fabrics are used in the garments they construct and sell, it is incumbent upon them to share safe handling instructions. Without a care label it becomes a challenge to guarantee safe handling of items.

Fabricare Center along with many other industry professionals have provided comments to the FTC in favor of renewing this rule. We hope as a protection for you that our voices are heard.

Tips to Get the Whole Family Moving

Consider these tips to keep the whole family motivated and moving you might be surprised to find that exercise can be fun.

With many families stuck at home juggling working remotely, homeschooling and trying to keep everyone happy and healthy, it can be easy to let an otherwise active lifestyle fall by the wayside.

Regardless of age, being physically active provides numerous health benefits. The American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity for adults each week, and 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity for kids between the ages of 6-17 each day. Finding ways to move daily can help everyone in the family maintain their health – and prevent them from going stir crazy. Although prioritizing activity in a quarantined environment might be one of the last things on your mind, parents who model healthy behaviors can inspire their kids to do the same.

Go for a walk or bike ride. Incorporating walks or bike rides into your family’s daily routine can help get everyone moving as well as create quality bonding time. If your family is more on the adventurous side, consider venturing outside your neighborhood to find new trails or rougher terrain to explore nature while getting active. While your annual family vacation might’ve been canceled, there are likely hidden trails within a short drive from home.

Take a virtual class. Many fitness instructors and gyms are sharing free classes online designed for the whole family. Simply connect a streaming device to your television and search for virtual classes that are geared toward getting families moving, regardless of fitness level. Fitness instructors and studios are also sharing a variety of workouts – from family yoga to dance cardio in various time increments – on social media that you can find by searching various fitness-related hashtags.

Play a family game. Playing games together is an old-fashioned way to get the whole family moving and having fun. An activity as simple as tag or racing around the house, or even a game that requires some equipment such as soccer or basketball, can get everyone’s heart rate up. You can even create a fitness deck or activity dice to turn working out into a fun game.

Build your own obstacle course. Set out hoops, pillows, rope, ladders, cardboard boxes and other items you find around the house to create a fun and challenging obstacle course either indoors or out. This can be easily adapted to varying levels of difficulty to meet each family member’s level. Don’t forget a stopwatch to see who can complete the course the quickest.

Fruity Fall Flavors for Dessert

Comfort food typically calls to mind soups, stews and hearty meals meant to warm you up on a chilly day. However, you can also turn to tasty treats as a way to end a cold day on a hot note. This Walnut Apple Pear Crisp combines two fall favorite fruits in a sweet and simple yet flavorful nibble.

Easy Ways to Enjoy Life’s Everyday Moments

For many people across the country, carving out time from busy schedules to spend with loved ones can be difficult. However, when opportunities arise to experience bonding activities together, the results can be fond memories and a deeper sense of security.

“Many families, mine included, usually put a lot of energy into planning fun events and special trips to create memories,” said Amanda Mushro, TLC lifestyle expert and fairlife ambassador. “These get-togethers help us cope with challenges and remember to make the most of each day. This year, while disappointing, has revived our chances to slow down a little and savor the little moments that happen at home every day.”

Build Strong Bonds
Life gets busy, and in the shuffle it’s easy to overlook the importance of quality time with your friends, family, and significant others. Commit to regularly (and safely) spending one-on-one time with each loved one as a special treat you can all cherish. Even if it’s just snuggling and watching a favorite show together, crafting or doing an activity you both enjoy, try making an effort to slow down and strengthen your bonds.

Head Outdoors
Leave the technology behind and go for a walk or a bike ride together once or twice a week. It’s a ritual you can look forward to while taking advantage of the time together and the chance to burn some energy. You can take outdoor appreciation even further by planning camping trips to enjoy the joys of wildlife through activities like bird watching, fishing or impromptu scavenger hunts.

Make Meals a Family Affair
Not only does getting the whole family involved make the preparation faster, it’s a chance to squeeze in some time and maybe even some learning and sharing. Kids can help with measuring and other age-appropriate tasks, and the casual setting is a good environment to get kids talking about what’s on their minds. If evenings are too rushed to make an all-hands approach practical, instead try carving out some time on the weekends or once a month for a few hours of baking up batches of a favorite treat. You can also find new and fun family-friendly recipes. Even if the recipe doesn’t turn out well, the time spent doing it together is a treat on its own.

Enjoy Tasty Treats Together
There’s nothing quite like a bowl of ice cream to light up a face and mood so break out the scooper and make some sweet memories. Set up your next sundae bar with a tasty option like fairlife Light Ice Cream, a delicious, lactose-free frozen dessert with a strong nutrition profile compared to traditional ice cream. It comes in seven flavors, so there is something for everyone.

Avoid Life’s Stressors
Outside influences can have a major impact on your mood and ability to enjoy your time at home. Try turning off your phone notifications for a few hours of uninterrupted home time. If clutter is creating havoc, look for ways to improve your home’s organization and get everyone in the house to pitch in to keep things in place.

Schedule Weekly Fun Nights

How To Store Table Linens Properly

How To Store Table Linens Properly

Uncategorized

One of the more common questions we receive in the store this time of year is in regards to how to store table linens properly, for long periods. With the holidays coming up and people starting to pull out their linens from storage it becomes clear that there has to be a better way. So to help you and others with tips on pre-storage, proper ways to cover, storing flat or hanging, we’ve put together a quick guide to storing your linens.

How To Store Table Linens

Just two steps, when followed properly will keep your linens looking new for years to come.

Pre-Storage

The most important step in storing table linens is making sure that they are properly cleaned before you store them. Make sure you check for and treat and major stains and wash your table linen thoroughly. Often the easier step is to have your linen dry cleaned and press by a professional. This is typically the best pre-storage practice.

Where & Ways to Store Your Linens

It is best to store your table linens in a cool, dark, and well ventilated area. There are typically two ways to store your linens, flat or hanging. Below are some tips for both.

Storing Your Linens Flat

Place the same tissue paper between the folds. You want to “soften” the folds to prevent long term creases. Never fold them crisp for an extended period. And it’s good to shake them out a few times a year.

Hanging Your Linens

When hanging your linens make sure to use padded hangers with one linen to a hanger. If you cover your linens make sure to use white 100% cotton, never use a plastic bag. Fore longer pieces it may be best to use an over the door hanger.

Fall Cleaning Tips – to Keep Your Clothes Looking New

Dry Cleaning , Fabricare Center Blog

While most of us know the term “spring cleaning”, people often forget that fall cleaning can actually be more important. Especially when it comes to your clothes. So to help you look your best during the cooler seasons check out these fall cleaning tips for keeping your clothes looking new.

Fall Cleaning Tips to Keep Your Clothes Looking New

Pack Away Your Summer Clothes

One of the easiest ways to keep your closets organized is by storing clothes you only wear seasonally. With fall approaching it’s time to put away those summer clothes, making sure that they are thoroughly cleaned before storing.

Unpack Your Fall Clothes

Once you’ve got your summer clothes ready to store it’s time to unpack and go through your fall clothes. As a bonus this is a great time to go through the clothes you have stored and decide whether to keep, donate, or trash them. If you haven’t worn it in more than 2 years it’s probably ok to move on from it.

Have Your Winter Clothes Cleaned and/or Mended

Once you’ve pulled out your cold weather clothes this is a great time to have them cleaned or mended based on need. Missing a button, have a random previously unnoticed stain, or have you lost a few pounds and need something taken in. Take advantage of the new season with your outfits looking their best.

Don’t Forget The Shoes

It’s time to dust off those boots and other cold weather shoes. After all, the best way to throw off a good looking outfit is with dirty shoes.  Get them all shined up with an at home shoe shine kit or have your local dry cleaner get them looking like new for you.

How Often to Wash Your Comforter – Cleaning Tips

Dry Cleaning , Fabricare Center Blog

While most of us tend to clean our bed sheets on a regular basis, we often neglect the one of our most used items on our beds. The comforter. It keeps us warm at night and is often our cozy place. But you wouldn’t be so comfortable if you really knew how dirty they can get. Dust mites and pet fur are just two of the culprits in getting your comforter dirty. The number one polluter is your own body.

So how often to wash your comforter? Let’s get to it!

How Often to Wash Your Comforter?

Bulky sheets, comforters , and duvets should be cleaned 2-3 times per year. A good tip is to do this around when the seasons change to help you remember and stay consistent. Doctors also recommend cleaning all of your bedding after someone has been sick. Which is especially important in the time of Covid-19.

Tips for Cleaning Comforters

  1. Make sure to read the tag! Before you do anything with your comforter make sure to read the tag for proper cleaning instructions. This is especially important with delicate materials.

  2. If you choose to do it yourself, use a machine large enough to thoroughly clean your comforter. A lot of newer washing machines have settings for bulky sheets but this does not make up for the lack of space. A large comforter (Queen and King+ sizes) need very large machines to properly clean the piece. Most of the time you can find these at laundry mats or at a dry cleaners.

  3. Weigh the risks. Expensive comforters can also be the most delicate and often have the most trouble to wash in a home washing machines. While many people have had success doing this, many others have not. It can end with you replacing your comforter.

  4. . Have your comforter dry cleaned professionally. The safest and easiest way to have get your comforter as good as new is to have a it cleaned by a professional. They will have the proper machines to thoroughly clean your items and many (like us) will use green earth detergents to guarantee the best results.
